A wonderful and charming 2D platformer with linear run and gun gameplay. The way shooting is manual, but locks in the direction you set it to allows the game to have you focus more on movement, while the chunky skeumorphic buttons make sure that you can keep a good level of control over the game without the ease of misinputs that plagues many mobile games with manual controls. Level design is enticing but not precice, and accomodates the controls by not requiring you to change your aim mid jump.

This game is simply "get from point A to point B" with the story having some pretty chill dialogue but it doesn't stop you from actually progressing which I loved. I swear games that stop me from continuing (I am looking at you Pokemon) get pretty annoying the second run through. Just let me explore! Anyways, the bosses were a joy to take down again and the music was pretty solid. Although this game didn't really do much to stand out from the crowd, I like to think that this game was just playing it safe on the market. Nevertheless, it was fun. I went ahead and bought this again because why not?
